Audience profile 1: 28 Days Later: as a sci fi horror, the audience is relatively preset as males between 15-34, however that is not to say that other age groups or females would not see it. The age certificate is an 18, therefore it would be not wise to market it to audiences younger than 18 (even though it is somewhat of a popular film among younger teenagers) and sci fi films are generally not a genre of film advertised to te female audience. Although I don't believe this film is marketed at any specific ethnic group, being an English film, set in London, I believe people in England would be specifically attracted to the atmosphere of the film. In terms of class, I believe it is relatively open to any class, because anyone can appreciate the complete melt down of society which 28 days later portrays. The upper class would be able to empathise with the turmoil suffered by the characters just as well as the working class would. All in all the film is relatively open to any audiences, even though it does have a vague target audience, there is not set audience, I can imagine anyone enjoying this film (other than the very young or old) therefore they can attract a large variety of audience. This is something I hope we can replicate to our film
